World Cup of Darts 2025

The Australian pairing of Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock won this tournament in 2022 and although Whitlocks form has taken a bit of a down turn since then Heta has more than made up for this with him recently reaching a career high of #8 in the world. In a group with the #12 seed Austria featuring a Mensur Suljovic very much in decline and debutant Rusty-Jake Rodriguez who doesn’t have much big stage experience we fully expect Australia to make their way through Group H safely.

Australia to win Group H at 8/15

Luke Littler has been by far the best player of the premier league this season topping the 180 count as well as having the highest % doubles hit. That being said however Price is most definitely a bogey player for Littler with Price winning 6 of the last 10 meetings between the pair. Littler however always seems to save his best darts for the biggest events and there is no doubt that this is one of the biggest nights of the year. I predict Littler coming out victorious in a very tight game. My suggested bet for this one is in the handicap betting market, Gerwyn Price + 3.5 legs paying 4/6 with 365.

Japan to win Group K at 11/4

Group K looks fairly even on paper featuring Croatia, Japan & Switzerland however we believe there is serious value in the 11/4 on offer for Japan to advance. Croatia’s pairing reached the quarter final of this tournament last year but since then Boris Krcmar’s form has dropped resulting in him losing his PDC tour card at the end of last year. On the flipside his partner Pero Ljubic gained his tour card for the first time at the start of this year but is yet to impress in the PDC. In comparison the Japanese pairing of Goto and Azemoto have previous experience in this tournament together as they are the returning pair from 2024. Although on this occasion they finished bottom of their group they had solid performances in both matches and since then have both been performing well on the PDC Asian Tour with them lying in 3rd and 7th position currently. Japan always seem to perform well in this tournament as for this reason, they are our pick to make it through Group K.

New Zealand to win Group L at 6/5

Fairly self-explanatory selection here, in a very favourable group with debutants (and 1000/1 shots) Argentina and Finland who have won just 2 of their 14 previous world cup games we would expect Ben Robb & Mark Cleaver to get through this group without too much trouble and 6/5 looks a very tasty price for this to happen.
